In recent star news, ADAM LEVINE trashed HONEY BOO BOO by calling her the “decay of western civilization.”
And that’s not the worst of it!
Adam Levine didn’t quite feel the same way about Honey Boo Boo as other stars like Jennifer Lawrence does.
The Maroon 5 singer and “The Voice” mentor expressed his thoroughly negative and profane thoughts about “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” its lead reality star, child pageant participant Alana ”Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, and her family.
When asked what was scarier, waking up one morning not famous or as one of Honey Boo Boo‘s parents, in an interview for the December issue of GQ, Levine said:
“Seriously, ‘Honey Boo Boo‘ is the DECAY of Western civilization.”
He continued:
“Just because so many people watch the show doesn’t mean it’s good. So many people witness atrocities and can’t take their eyes away from them, but that doesn’t mean they’re good.”
But the rock star didn’t stop there. He added:
“That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened.”
He makes it clear that his intense dislike was mostly about the concept of a 7-year-old being exposed to the world of competitive pageanting at such a young age.
Levine said:
“It’s complete f*cking ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. F*ck those people. You can put that in the magazine: F*ck those idiots.”
He admitted:
“They’re just the worst. Sorry, I’m so sensitive to that-like, I don’t know, man, it’s upsetting.”
Levine said conclusively and emphatically:
“Just to clarify, I said, “F*CK THOSE PEOPLE.”
Ouch.
