Florence Welch Wears A Whole Lotta Print On The Red Carpet

31 Aug

Oh dear.

All eyes were on Florence Welch at the Venice Film Festival premiere of Women’s Tales on Thursday and we think it’s pretty clear why.

As much as we want to like her head to toe Miu Miu ensemble, we can’t.

It’s just too much print and hurts our eyes if we stare at it too long.

Better luck next time, Flo.

LADY GAGA Jokingly Accuses LINDSAY LOHAN Of Stealing: “Are Those My Earrings?”

31 Aug

LADY GAGA jokingly accused LINDSAY LOHAN of stealing-just a few days after the actress was named a suspect in an alleged burglary in a Hollywood Hills home-by asking her: “Are those my earrings?”

Err… Awkward.

JTM 047001

Just days after Lindsay was “framed” in an alleged jewelry heist at one of her good friends’ home in Hollywood Hills and after the swanky Chateau Marmont banned her from their premises for dodging hotel bills of almost $50,000, Lady Gaga took a shot at her sleepover buddy on Twitter… by suggesting that she also stole her earrings.

It was all in good fun, of course.

After Lindsay uploaded a photo of herself while at dinner and wearing a fancy pair of earrings, Mother Monster sent the actress a tweet (which she later deleted), saying:

“@lindsaylohan ummmm are those my earrings??? this is awkward…:) kiss kiss chateau bunny.”

Double burn!

Do you think Lindsay will laugh Lady Gaga‘s joke off or will she take it seriously?

The baby boy weighed in at 9 lbs., 2 oz. and joins big brothers Conrad, 23 months, and Mylo, 5.

“They’re super excited for a new baby and can’t wait to play with him,” says Elliot, 35, of his elder sons, who wore big brother t-shirts to welcome Jedidiah home.

“Allie’s dad’s name is Jed and my dad’s middle name is Lindsay,” the chef and owner of G.E.B. explains of the name choice.

“The names Jed and [Lindsay] don’t get used often, and they’re part of our family history, so why not embrace that?”

MasterChef airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on FOX.

KIM KARDASHIAN: Reality TV Is “Still Entertainment” And I Deserve A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!

29 Aug

In a recent interview with V Magazine, KIM KARDASHIAN defends her fame, stating that reality TV is “still entertainment” and that she deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Delusional much, Kim?

MVR 000571

A lot of people believe that Kim Kardashian and her family don’t deserve their fame and money because, unlike other Hollywood celebrities, they are virtually talentless. And even award-winning actors agree… like Daniel Craig (who called the Kardashian Klan “f*cking idiots”), Jon Hamm (who blamed Kim for the “stupidity” of society), Jeremy Renner (who said the Kardashians were “stupid people”), and Jonah Hill (who said that the Kardashians are a “super disgusting part of our culture”).

Obviously, Kim doesn’t agree with any of their comments. The reality star tells V Magazine:

“It’s always funny to me when people say that I’m famous for being famous. I think it’s fascinating, because it’s still entertainment, you know? It’s fun to see the progression of that idea.”

She continues:

“I’m not na ve to the fact that I’m not a singer or an actress or anything like that. I’ve never claimed to be anything that I’m not. I think [reality] is still a new form of entertainment that was kind of an unexpected thing.”

Kim then adds:

“It reminds me of rap music.”

Uh… how so?

She explains:

“When rap music first came out, people were like, we don’t understand this, what is this, it’s just a fad. But rap music is definitely here to stay, and I think reality shows have proven they are as well. But when something is newer, people don’t really understand it.”

Kim goes on to argue the relevancy of reality TV by saying that it has pretty much replaced the now not-so-popular soap operas. She says:

“You can see that soap operas aren’t on the air as much anymore. I think reality shows are taking over that genre, but I think the draw to our show is that we are relatable… people saying, ‘I don’t have any sisters, but you make me feel like I’m part of the family,’ or, ‘I have four sisters and it reminds me of you guys!’ I think it’s just a new world with social media. The interaction I have with my fans and the access is so much fun to me. I love that connection.”

When asked if she can see herself becoming a respected TV star one day, Kim says:

“I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So, of course I’m so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold.”

Right…

Keep dreaming, girl!

Prince Harry Shows Off Crown Jewels

24 Aug

Prince Harry, known as the wild child of the British royals earned himself another spot in tabloids across the world by displaying his “crown jewels” with a few random girls Harry picked up along the way during a game of strip pool in his $8,000 a night Vegas suite.

Back at home, grandma and the rest of the royal family aren’t too thrilled with his continuous rebellious side acting out but he’s not the only one that the family is pointing their finger at. His personal security crew is hearing the wrath of the royals for allowing these indecent girls to enter the suite with their cell phones in hand and continuing to allow them to take pictures of the bare-naked prince. The team reportedly stood there and enjoyed the show that was being put on. They did tell the girls not to take pictures but apparently didn’t do much to stop them.

That night, Prince Harry and the Olympic champion, Ryan Lochte both landed at the same pool party at the hotel’s XS nightclub around 3 a.m. where the boozing Harry spotted the swimmer and challenged him to a race in the overly crowded pool. He threw off his shirt and jumped in. Lochte of course didn’t have any competition with the Prince but the many spectators enjoyed the show. After the race, the two exchanged a hug and went their separate ways. It was a brief, friendly challenge which was just the beginning of Harry’s adventurous night in Vegas.

Harry’s first unacceptable shindig occurred when he was seventeen years old when he was captured smoking marijuana and participating in underage drinking while spending a night out with friends at nightclubs. He was later photographed at a costume party sporting a Nazi uniform that featured a swastika on his armband which led to a public apology from the Prince for his behavior.

Viola Davis Genesis Is Getting Into My Lipsticks!

24 Aug

Calling life since adopting daughter Genesis “wonderful,” new mom Viola Davis always has her little girl on her mind.

“I just had a conversation with her on the phone and she said, ‘Hey Mama, how you doing in New York?’” the actress, 47, tells PEOPLE while attending The MOM’s Mamarazzi event recently.

“She has been to New York, but she didn’t come on this trip as it is so short and I didn’t want to uproot her.”

There have been a few trials along the way — although she is hesitant to refer to it as the terrible twos stage — but Davis is choosing to see the positive in her 2-year-old’s constant curiosity.

“She’s written on the walls. She’s gotten into my lipsticks,” she says. “She calls it ‘lippy lips’ and when she gets into my lipsticks she puts it all over her face. I love kids and everything they do; I love their innocence.”

That innocence, adds Davis, is one she treasures — and will do everything to maintain. “I didn’t have a sense of security growing up. I grew up in dysfunction [and] in poverty, and it took me years of therapy … to make up for all the years that I had lost,” she explains.

“Now that I have a child I am just feeling like a bull in terms of protecting the security, the innocence [and] the power of having a beautiful child full of joy. It means everything to me.”

With a passion for education, the Won’t Back Down star admits she has high hopes for Genesis’ future — both inside and outside of the classroom.

“I want her to identify as a citizen of the world and not just her small community. I want her to feel like she can be instrumental in changing and shifting the world by using her education,” Davis explains, adding her latest role has left her “red hot” about the topic.

“It is a combination of the education she will be getting at school and the education she will be getting in terms of tapping into her voice and her authentic self. I do not want her to be a passive citizen.”
