Kim Kardashian‘s doctor thinks Kim’s unborn baby may be at risk, because of the stress Kris Humphries is causing by dragging out their divorce … TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … several days ago Kim called her doctor in the middle of the night to come to the house because she was having severe pains.  The doctor examined her, but then warned he believed the problems were largely stress-related.

Sources say … the only significant stress in her life right now is the divorce.  And hours before her meeting Tuesday with her lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, Kim’s pains returned in full force.

The doctor warned Kim she needs to handle the stress or else there could be “long-term effects.”  The doctor did not elaborate, but we’re told Kim is freaked out her baby may be at risk.

Kim’s mom Kris Jenner appeared on “The View” this morning, saying, “Kim has been going through this divorce for months. She has been under a lot of stress because of it and the doctors told her you’ve had a really tough week and the stress could become a problem if she isn’t careful.”

Leighton Meester Is Dating Adam Brody

22 Feb

It looks like Leighton Meester is getting a taste of Orange County, Calif.

The former Gossip Girl star, 26, who has been an N.Y.C. staple, is dating former The O.C. star Adam Brody, 33, sources confirm to PEOPLE.

Reps for the actors have not commented, and both have kept their private lives out of the spotlight over the years.

In 2010, Meester briefly addressed her “really hard” split from Sebastian Stan, saying, “I was really sad when it ended, but that’s what taught me a lot about myself and love and life – and that’s good.”

Brody most famously dated O.C. costar Rachel Bilson. They split in 2006, and the actor most recently publicly courted screenwriter Lorene Scafaria in 2011.

Meester and Brody reportedly became close after costarring in the film The Oranges.

Bethenny Frankel Anxious Over Dog Cookie’s Limp

22 Feb

All’s not well at home for Bethenny Frankel, who, after splitting with husband Jason Hoppy, is now dealing with her beloved dog Cookie’s ailing health.

“My first baby [Cookie] is limping,” the star shared with her Twitter followers Wednesday. “She’s 12 & it makes me sad & gives me anxiety.”

Often seen on Bethenny Ever After, Cookie has been by Frankel’s side for most of her reality TV career, but her most recent health woe is the latest in a series of complications for the canine.

In April 2012, Cookie was admitted to the hospital after Frankel shared she was vomiting repeatedly. Following a brief stay, she was released with a catheter and a cone, and the Bravo star revealed Cookie was battling an infection.

Two months later, after Frankel and her family moved to Los Angeles for her talk show, the media maven again took to Twitter to write about Cookie’s case of the fleas.

“She has gnawed & scratched her body to death. She isn’t liking LA,” Frankel posted.

GTA V: 10 Features We’d Love To See on the Improved Smart Phone

GTA V Phone

The Grand Theft Auto video game series is one of the biggest in the world, and the levels of anticipation for the newest instalment, Grand Theft Auto V, are sky high. Fans can’t wait to see what the game has to offer in terms of gameplay, characters, graphics and new features. One of the new additions to the game will be an improved smartphone (which became an important feature in GTA IV).

With no official word of what these improvements will be, I’ve decided to speculate on what features we would love to see for this new phone.

10. Games

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas arcade machine

Mobile phone gaming has become a massive industry in recent years as non-gamers have found themselves addicted to things like Angry Birds and Draw Something. So with the new phone in GTA V, why not have mobile games available on it? The GTA series has often included games within the game, in the form of pool, basketball and retro arcade games, so it would be fairly easy to have those games on the phone instead. And having games on the phone instead of having to drive around looking for an arcade machine would make it easier for people to play them if they fancy having some downtime from a mission. It would be quite interesting taking a break fin the middle of a homicidal rampage to play QUB3D.

Star Wars: 5 Reasons A Yoda Spin-Off Is A Bad Idea

21 Feb

Yoda smash

Yoda is arguably the most famous Star Wars character ever conceived. Known for his idiosyncratic talking style and small green stature, the little guy has always acted as a kind of inspiration for movie fans everywhere, and is legitimate proof that size isn’t necessarily a good indicator of power (in Star Wars, at least). He’s also pretty hilarious, because despite having once been the head of the prestigious Jedi council, he steals Luke Skywalker’s dinner and just, like, laughs about it.

Yesterday, Disney announced that – along with J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode 7 – they’re planning several spin-off movies set in and around the Star Wars universe. With characters like Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt rumoured to be getting the ol’ single film treatment (Jabba being a character that George Lucas has apparently been pitching to Disney for some reason), cinema’s most famous… uh, whatever species Yoda is… is also apparently set to take centre-stage.

These are the “secret projects” that Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg presumably signed up to work on away from the J.J. Abrams-helmed new trilogy, and although the idea of even more Star Wars movies is kind of exciting (especially since the TV series never came into being), we’re still not sure that Yoda is exactly the right kind of character to get his own spin-off. Here’s 5 reasons we think that Star Wars: Yoda is a bad idea.
