Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman‘s Identity Thief returned to first place at the box office during Oscars weekend, grossing an estimated $14.1 million. The comedy’s grand total since opening two weeks ago now stands at $93.7 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Newcomer Snitch, starring Dwayne Johnson, and the animated flick Escape From Planet Earth earned $13 million and $11 million, respectively.
Silver Linings Playbook is the only Oscar-nominated film that finished the weekend in the top 10, with $6.1 million in ticket sales.
With its weekend earnings, the David O. Russell picture has officially surpassed the $100 million mark since its wide release in November.
Keri Russell‘s new horror film Dark Skies opened with a weak $8.9 million. The film couldn’t catch up to Safe Haven and last week’s box office giant A Good Day to Die Hard to finish in the top five.

JULIANNE HOUGH looked fabulous in a sexy, wine red gown at “An Evening with Nicholas Sparks and the cast of Safe Haven” at the Waterstones in London.
Julianne, who always looks fantastic in pretty much anything, was absolutely gorgeous in a wine red gown from the Emilio De La Morena Fall 2012 collection, which featured a shiny leather bodice and a figure-hugging skirt.
Gold jewels accessorized the look.
As for hair and makeup, the “Safe Haven” star went with a purposely-messy updo, smokey brown eye makeup, and pink lips.
What do you think of Julianne‘s latest look?

Megan Fox and Michael Bay have apparently put their differences aside and will be teaming up once again.
The director announced on Thursday that Fox will be joining his upcoming reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Bay kept the message short and sweet on his official site, writing, “TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!”
There’s no official word yet, but early speculation says Fox will be playing April O’Neil, the female lead in the series and the most notable human in the series.
Bay and Fox last worked together on the second Transformers film and had a reported falling out, when the actress likened the director to Hitler in an interview. Her comments led to her departure from the franchise, prompting Bay to cast supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as his leading lady in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.
The movie is still in its casting stage and the parts of the Ninja Turtles – Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael – haven’t been filled yet; however the same motion-capture technology used in Avatar will be used to bring the Turtles to life in the live-action flick.

They’re battling it out in the “Best Actor” category at the Academy Awards on Sunday, but Hugh Jackman has beaten Bradley Cooper in a less competitive race: sexiest facial hair.
In the battle of the beards, the “Les Miserables” star has bested the “Silver Linings Playbook” stud, according to a new survey conducted by British hair transplant center, Crown Clinic in Manchester.
“Hugh Jackman looks great whatever kind of facial hair he has – stubble, a moustache or a beard,” Crown Clinic surgeon and hair loss expert Dr. Asim Shahmalak told WENN.
Rounding out the top five on the list are David Beckham, George Clooney and Ben Affleck.
Stars with the least sexy stubble include Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix and Jim Carrey.
