Britney Spears’ ‘Work Bitch’ Music Video Is Starting to Look a Lot Like ‘Bangerz’

29 Mar

Great minds think alike.

Britney Spears has teased fans with an on-set photo from her “Work Bitch” music video shoot and – from the looks of it – Miley Cyrus has definitely rubbed off on the Princess of Pop.

In the behind-the-scenes snapshot, the world “bitch” is scrawled out in neon lights similar to cover of the “We Can’t Stop” crooner’s forthcoming album, Bangerz. (And both are certainly emulating a Miami Vice meets sleazy strip club feel.)

“My choreographer actually, when I was doing the rehearsals for this video, he was like, ‘Britney, you are not a sweet mommy in this video. You are nasty bitch mommy in this video,'” Spears recently told E! News of the shoot.

“When you start to feel the character, you start to feel silly, ’cause you’re like, ‘This isn’t me, I’m not like all like this,'” she explained, “moving all sexually and stuff like that, so as ‘mommy’ you feel really awkward doing that.

“[But] once you get out there and the camera starts rolling, you just kind of feel it out and you do it. But when I watch playbacks sometimes, I’m like, ‘Who do I think I am?! Who the hell do I think I am?!'”

For one, she’s Britney, bitch.

Lyrics for the song are now on Directlyrics.

Jimmy Fallon and The Roots’ Sesame Street Performance with Elmo and Friends is Actually Pretty Amazing

29 Mar

Thank you, Jimmy Fallon, for bringing a smile to the child in all of us today.

The latest Late Night classroom instruments session has arguably put all other previous performances (sorry Mariah Carey, Robin Thicke and Carly Rae Jepsen) to shame.

On Wednesday night, the main cast of Sesame Street joined Fallon and the guys from The Roots for a very adorable rendition of the show’s beloved theme song.

The Count counted everyone in, naturally, while Abby Cadabby showed off her sweet rapping skills with The Roots’ Black Thought.

Big Bird had a solo, as did Elmo and Cookie Monster (who ate his instrument, a banana shaker).

Sesame Street kicked off its 44th season earlier this month.

Monteith, who played the beloved Finn Hudson on the FOX series, died in July from a toxic mixture involving heroin and alcohol.

The 31-year-old actor was remembered during a special tribute on the Primetime Emmys telecast last weekend.

“His death is a reminder of the rapacious and senseless destruction that is brought on by addiction,” co-star Jane Lynch said during the segment. “We remember Cory for all he was and mourn the loss of all he could have been.”

Glee season 5 premieres on FOX tonight with the first of two Beatles-themed episodes. The show’s third episode, titled “The Quarterback,” is scheduled for an Oct. 10 air date.

Fox Renews ‘Bob’s Burgers’ for a Fifth Season

28 Mar

Fox has renewed Bob's Burgers for a fifth season.

Fox is clearly pretty confident in Bob’s Burgers, as it ordered a fifth season of the show today. The show’s fourth season hasn’t even started yet.

Bob’s Burgers is one of those rare finds that just continues to outdo itself, creatively,” Kevin Reilly, Fox’s Chairman of Entertainment, said in a statement. “The show has become a key member of our Sunday animation domination family, and we’re looking forward to attracting new fans with another season.”

While Burgers doesn’t get quite as much attention as Fox’s other animated comedies (ahem, Family Guy), it does have a pretty large cult following. Additionally, according to Fox, it was one of only two broadcast comedies to post year-over-year gains during its third season.

Prince George To Be Christened At The Chapel Royal, St. James Palace

25 Mar

The Duchess of Cambridge looked radiant (lustrous locks and all) as she held her new son outside St. Mary's Lindo wing on July 23rd, 2013.

Kensington Palace announced today that HRH Prince George of Cambridge will be christened at The Chapel Royal, St. James Palace on Wednesday, October 23rd.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby will perform the private service.

According to royal reporter Victoria Arbiter, Princess Beatrice, Lord Frederick Windsor and his sister, Lady Gabriella Windsor were all christened at The Chapel Royal.

Both Prince Charles and Prince William were christened in Buckingham Palace’s music room. Prince Harry was christened at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. According to Arbiter, the Queen was christened in a private chapel inside Buckingham Palace, while her father’s took place at Sandringham.

It’s understood that Prince George will wear a replica of the original Honiton lace and satin christening gown created for Queen Victoria‘s eldest daughter in 1841, worn by Queen Elizabeth, William and other members of the current royal family. However, it was deemed too delicate to be worn again after Lady Louise Windsor‘s 2004 christening, so The Queen then had a replica commissioned for future use, according to HELLO!

Th night before her funeral at Westminster Abbey, Diana’s casket rested in The Chapel Royal.

One Direction Concerts Seem Like… Not a Thing I Want to Attend, Ever

25 Mar

One Direction In Concert

What the hell goes on at One Direction concerts? I’m curious (But not curious enough to actually, ya know, attend one), because between the pantsing and the handshaking (nothing screams excitement like a good, ol’ fashioned businessman’s handshake!), it’s like, what? Why? Is this a concert or an amateur improv comedy night? Perhaps it has something to do with the whole, like, “We’re just five lads!” band mythology? And at least we got some good captions out of it.

“Thanks for last night, it was good.” – Catherine

“I will pull your pants down like I did at a burger joint” – John

“I’ll take the high notes, and you take the low notes? Deal?” – Murny

“I’ll never let go, Lou!” – Marcy

“We’ve officially just formed the first-ever inter-band alliance, protecting us from the dangers of pantsing and other pranks.” – Cranston

Congrats to our winners! Visit our Facebook page for a new Caption Contest each and every weekday. It’s never too late to add a caption, so do so in the comments!

Lindsay Lohan “Scrumps” with Jimmy Fallon Because Twerking is “So 2013″

24 Mar

Lindsay Lohan on Jimmy Fallon

Lindsay Lohan was a surprise guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night where she donned her tweeniest tights for his recurring sketch “Ew!”

Lohan and Fallon discussed all things ew including: rakes, Segways, Hamburger Helper and twerking. Dustin Hoffman, however, was deemed “cute.”

The two only broke character once, which is much better than the last time the two were in a sketch together.

We missed you, Lindsay!
