Photoshop is still working its wonders for Jennifer Lawrence: she is flawless in her new Miss Dior autumn/winter 2013 advertising campaign.
Once again snapped by fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre, the new shots feature an au naturel – albeit heavily airbrushed – Lawrence: with little makeup on her freckled face and her hair wispily swept up in low-slung bun, she wears a simple grey doubled-breasted peacoat as she models the fashion house’s signature chain-handled Miss Dior bag.
Still, Lawrence appears less touched-up in the new adverts compared to her first campaign for the French fashion house, which caught criticism for its over-the-top Photoshop-ing – her too smooth skin, her unnaturally long neck, and her Barbie-sized waistline.
Either way, J.Law is cool with whatever it takes to look perfect in print. “Of course it’s Photoshop. People don’t look like that,” she famously said of her first ads. “I love Photoshop more than anything in the world.”
