Hold onto your butts because Patti LuPone is headed to Brooklyn. The grand madame of Broadway will play a “fictional version” of herself on two episodes of Girls‘ next season.
LuPone said in an interview that she’ll be featured on two episodes of the show’s forthcoming third season, alongside Lena Dunham and Andrew Rannells, a Broadway veteran himself.
Besides that, details on how exactly Hannah Horvath crosses paths with a two-time Tony winner are scant. But here’s hoping it involves a lot of yelling. Because lord knows Patti LuPone can yell.
In other Girls news, Orange is the New Black‘s Danielle Brooks recently confirmed that she, too, will be featured in the next season.
