We knew it!
At long last, the “American Idol” judge vacancies have finally been filled… and just in time before auditions start for the show’s 12th season!
As previously reported, Mariah Carey was the first to sign on as the show’s judge for the upcoming season. Randy Jackson almost quit to become an “Idol” mentor but made a quick return after being assured that Enrique Iglesias won’t be joining the show.
“American Idol” host, Ryan Seacrest, shared a photo of himself with the show’s final four judges, which he captioned:
“It’s official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj, @KeithUrban & @Yo_RandyJackson!”
Keith Urban happily tweeted:
“SO excited to be joining the team on @AmericanIdol!!!!!! -KU#idoljudges”
Mariah Carey has obviously gone from being overly excited to just anxious to start her new job, posting:
“On my way to meet the new #IdolJudges”
Similarly, Nicki Minaj shared:
“New York auditions today & tomorrow! #AmericanIdol :p”
For the 12th time now, Randy Jackson is just glad to be back, writing:
“we are back! its on! #idoljudges”
We’re just glad the search and all the mad speculation is over!
What can you say about the new line up of “American Idol” judges?
