KRISTEN STEWART Doesn’t Like It When People Look At Her

16 Dec

Hollywood news has just learned that KRISTEN STEWART doesn’t like it when people look at her.

But we think all of you already knew that.

Though she’s been acting since she was a little kid, Kristen still isn’t used to being in the spotlight-even after skyrocketing to fame following the success of the Twilight film franchise. In fact, she hates the spotlight so much that she was once quoted as comparing constant paparazzi attention to being raped.

Known for being shy and somewhat awkward in the public eye, the actress talks about her aversion to the limelight in her recent interview with Marie Claire Australia.

Kristen shares:

“I’m particularly weird because I don’t even like being looked at. A lot of actors love it and they love going out and literally doing it as an activity. I hate it.”

She adds:

“I don’t especially enjoy the process, to be honest. I have a lot of actor friends who love getting ready for something just because they feel kind of important. I don’t identify with that. But being in the public eye, I’m expected to look good and I understand that.”

One thing about being in the spotlight that Kristen has learned to like-after years and years of having it “forced” on her-is the fashion. She explains:

“It took years of my being forced on to the carpets when you have no choice but to do it, until one day you suddenly realise it’s a huge gift… It was one of those things that just felt right. I’m a huge fan of the fashion world now that I’ve been allowed to be a part of it, even if oftentimes I don’t even know what I’m wearing.”

Then, in a shameless bit of brand promotion, the Balenciaga spokesmodel adds:

“But whenever I put on anything by Balenciaga I’m like, ‘Oh, that looks like Balenciaga!’ You can see it, you can pick it out of a rack.”

KIM KARDASHIAN: Reality TV Is “Still Entertainment” And I Deserve A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!

29 Aug

In a recent interview with V Magazine, KIM KARDASHIAN defends her fame, stating that reality TV is “still entertainment” and that she deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Delusional much, Kim?

A lot of people believe that Kim Kardashian and her family don’t deserve their fame and money because, unlike other Hollywood celebrities, they are virtually talentless. And even award-winning actors agree… like Daniel Craig (who called the Kardashian Klan “f*cking idiots”), Jon Hamm (who blamed Kim for the “stupidity” of society), Jeremy Renner (who said the Kardashians were “stupid people”), and Jonah Hill (who said that the Kardashians are a “super disgusting part of our culture”).

Obviously, Kim doesn’t agree with any of their comments. The reality star tells V Magazine:

“It’s always funny to me when people say that I’m famous for being famous. I think it’s fascinating, because it’s still entertainment, you know? It’s fun to see the progression of that idea.”

She continues:

“I’m not na ve to the fact that I’m not a singer or an actress or anything like that. I’ve never claimed to be anything that I’m not. I think [reality] is still a new form of entertainment that was kind of an unexpected thing.”

Kim then adds:

“It reminds me of rap music.”

Uh… how so?

She explains:

“When rap music first came out, people were like, we don’t understand this, what is this, it’s just a fad. But rap music is definitely here to stay, and I think reality shows have proven they are as well. But when something is newer, people don’t really understand it.”

Kim goes on to argue the relevancy of reality TV by saying that it has pretty much replaced the now not-so-popular soap operas. She says:

“You can see that soap operas aren’t on the air as much anymore. I think reality shows are taking over that genre, but I think the draw to our show is that we are relatable… people saying, ‘I don’t have any sisters, but you make me feel like I’m part of the family,’ or, ‘I have four sisters and it reminds me of you guys!’ I think it’s just a new world with social media. The interaction I have with my fans and the access is so much fun to me. I love that connection.”

When asked if she can see herself becoming a respected TV star one day, Kim says:

“I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So, of course I’m so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold.”

Keep dreaming, girl!
