The Scandal star was draped in soft chiffon and covered in blooming flower appliqu s courtesy of her lovely and romantic Marchesa gown.

A soft, smokey eye and rosy blush complemented the dress perfectly.

It’s like she stepped out of a rococo painting! We’re completely ENCHANTED by this!

Elle Fanning Satisfies Her Sweet Tooth Courtesy Of New York Magazine

6 Apr

We are digging into our candy stash as we type, because this spread of Elle Fanning in New York Magazine has us SALIVATING for some sweets!

On the cover, the 14-year-old looks like the queen of bonbons in a Vivienne Westwood-inspired headpiece designed by artist Will Cotton.

For the candy-coated spread, she rocks a plethora of couture confections in a landscape that reminds us of Katy Perry‘s candy forrest, the Candyland board game, and the Land of Sweets portion of The Nutcracker ballet!

AH-mazing!!!

Elle frolics through the sugary realm in a frosting covered (!!!) Erdem dress, gauzy Reem Acra gown, a Thom Browne skirt with petit fours on the hem, rainbow-striped Christian Dior dress, and frothy Marchesa strapless gown.

YUM!

The actress also dishes on her unique sense of style, telling the mag:

“For a long time, I refused to wear jeans. I liked high-waisted pants, but jeans made me feel like I wasn’t being unique.” She makes her way out the door, off to study prefixes and suffixes for a Latin quiz. “Even now, I won’t wear the skinny-jeans style, because most people wear those-they have to be baggier, boyfriend-looking, or sort of like a mom jean. I’m real funny that way.”

She also loves popping tags at the thrift shop! She says:

“I went to the vintage store Wasteland with my grandmother to look for clothes. People say it’s so hard to look in there, because there’s so much, but you really just have to focus, get in the zone. I found this amazing floral jumpsuit that’s so cool. I have the patience to look through every rack.”

You always entertain us with your fashion choices, Elle. Don’t ever change!
