Katherine Jenkins splits from boyfriend – report

Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins is a single lady again after reportedly splitting from her latest boyfriend.

The former Dancing With The Stars contender began dating stockbroker Adam Bidwell, a close friend of British royal Prince Harry, in February (13), but they have decided to go their separate ways.

According to Britain’s Daily Mirror, the pair’s relationship became strained after Bidwell began spending more time in the gym shaping up for an upcoming charity boxing match.

A source tells the tabloid, “Adam has been training really hard for this boxing match and has been really under the cosh (under pressure) at work. It was Katherine’s decision but she still loves Adam and will continue to support him as a friend. Despite this she is incredibly sad and feeling pretty raw – splitting up is always painful.”

The romance was Jenkins’ first since she called off her engagement to Welsh TV host Gethin Jones in December 2011.

Snoop Dogg to host BET Hip Hop Awards

Rap icon Snoop Dogg has signed on to host the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The Gin & Juice hitmaker will make his debut as the ceremony’s host when he fronts the show at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Georgia on 28 September (13).

Announcing the news, Snoop says, “I’m excited to be hosting this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards 2013. We’re going to have fun this year and I will make it a show to remember, ya dig?! I’ll be giving a ton of surprises… and bringing all my nieces and nephews to the stage for an exciting night of hip hop.”

Kendrick Lamar leads all nominees with 14 nods, including Best Hip Hop Video (for Problems and Don’t Kill My Vibe), Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year and MVP of the Year, a category in which he’ll compete with 2 Chainz, J. Cole, Drake and Jay Z.

Multiple nominees also include Drake, 2 Chainz, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, Jay Z and Kanye West.

The coveted Album of the Year award will be a battle between J. Cole (Born Sinner), Jay Z (Magna Carta… Holy Grail), Kendrick Lamar (good kid, m.A.A.d city), Nas (Life Is Good), and Wale (The Gifted), while Diddy, Jay Z, Lamar, T.I. and Kanye West are up for Hustler of the Year.

Kristin Cavallari Talks About Pulling Off A Secret Wedding And Why A ‘Laguna Beach’ Reunion Will (Probably) Never Happen

Kristin Cavallari is used to keeping reality storylines on the down-low, but when it came to her own real-life wedding story she shocked even herself that she was able to pull off getting hitched without a hitch.

“I’m kinda surprised we did,” the blonde beauty told Celebuzz. “We only invited our closest friends and family and we just told everybody not to tell anyone.”

Cavallari and her football player hubby Jay Cutler, who got engaged in 2011, tied the knot June 8 at the Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville, Tenn., a locale close to their hearts.

“We live in Nashville during he off season,” she said. “We had a vintage-y, rustic-y wedding, I found this awesome warehouse with cool exposed brick walls. It just felt right.”

So, how’s life as a newlywed? “It’s great! It feels the exact same,” she laughed.

The 26-year-old shoe designer has had a busy year organizing her hush-hush nuptials and giving birth to the Cutler family’s first baby, Camden on August 8, 2012 – but don’t expect this pro planner to plan any elaborate first birthday celebrations.

“We’re not big on having big birthday parties for babies, probably when he’s five we’ll do something when he can remember it,” said Cavallari.

But this mom knows her baby boy can’t have his big day without one special present.

“Maybe I’ll make him a little healthy cake because I’m a heath nut… and just hang out. He’s at such a great age right now where everything is so new and exciting for him and hearing him laugh is the best thing in the world.”

The League guest star says she’s going to stick with scripted TV for now and although she’d be up for a Laguna Beach reunion she’s pretty sure that’s not going to happen anytime soon.

“I feel like I did it when I was single, but now I have a baby and a husband it’s so far behind me… those days are over, which is good they need to be over,” she said laughing.

“I would actually be interested in doing a Laguna Beach reunion… But I don’t think they’ll have us do it because I think it’ll come out how fake it was… it just wouldn’t work,” she continued. “But I would love to, I think it would be fun.”

So we’ll just have to keep crossing our fingers.

Angelina Jolie on Monday attended a special screening of her 2011 film In the Land of Blood and Honey at the United Nations University in Tokyo, Japan. Jolie – whose fiance, Brad Pitt, is also in town for the premiere of World War Z – kept things simple in a black dress from Michael Kors’ pre-fall 2013 collection. Naturally, she looked very pretty.

Jennifer Aniston, Mario Lopez and Drew Barrymore Lead Today’s Star Sightings

It may be summer, but Hollywood’s A-listers are hard at work this season.

Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore were both spotted film their respective movies this week. Over in the New York, Aniston was seen flaunting her gorgeous gams for the cameras on the set of Squirrels to the Nuts, the comedy revolves around a Broadway director who falls for a prostitute and works to make her famous.

Meanwhile in Atlanta, Barrymore reunited with her 50 First Dates co-star Adam Sandler to shoot scenes for Blended. Also starring Disney Channel’s Bella Thorne, the flick about two people stuck together after a bad blind date is slated to hit theaters May 2014.

Off set, Mario Lopez was busy with daddy duties as he took his daughter, Gia, to the beach in Malibu, Calif. Luckily for ladies everywhere, the Extra host decided to leave his shirt at home for this seaside outing.

‘RHOC’ Recap: Everyone Hates Gretchen

Love seems to be in full bloom for Gretchen Rossi. The star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County decided to throw caution to the wind and pop the question to her longtime love Slade Smiley. Last week, Gretchen recorded a love song, which also doubled as her proposal to Slade. After all the ups and downs the couple went through, Gretchen wanted to seize the day and become Mrs. Slade Smiley. Once Slade agreed to put a ring on Gretchen, the two made a pact to keep mum about their new status, since the OC ladies will hate on them. I wonder why?

While Gretchen and Slade bask in their happiness of being engaged, Gretchen’s friends Lydia McLaughlin, Alexis Bellino and Vicki Gunvalson weren’t too thrilled about her betrothed Slade’s trashtalk on his internet radio show. It seems Slade, once again, had something to say about the RHOC ladies. However, this time, his venom was directed at Vicki. The women were tired of Slade’s antics and Gretchen’s enabling, and declared enough was enough! While Vicki planned out her winter wonderland party, she opted to invite Gretchen and Slade, so she could confront Mr. Smiley about his antics.

Why even invite that crazy into your orbit Vicki? Just like a petulant child, if you ignore Slade, he’ll go away! Any RHOC viewer can tell Slade’s just creating drama, so he can stay relevant (and try to get a paycheck from Bravo). Therefore, why even feed into his nonsense?

Meanwhile, Heather Dubrow griped to her husband, Terry, she just couldn’t see herself being friends with Gretchen after the support she’s thrown her way, and the lies she’s busted her in. If that’s Heather’s barometer, I guess she won’t be friends with half the residents in Orange County. As Vicki’s party gets underway, Heather, Lydia, Alexis, and Tamra Barneyhad a bash fest about Slade, and insisted they wouldn’t put up with his foolishness. The women were going to let him know just how they felt about his behavior. Something tells me a lot of screeching and cuss words will fly once these wacky dames let the alcohol fly. Let the crazy commence!

One Direction’s Harry Styles Shoots Down Bisexual Rumors

Despite his the strong bromance he shares with his One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles says he’s only interested in the ladies.

Appearing on one out of the five covers for British GQ‘s September 2013 issue, Taylor Swift‘s former flame shot down bisexual rumors when the interviewer asked if he had a secret romance going on with close friend and TV presenter, Nick Grimshaw.

“Oh, really? I didn’t even know. We’re not dating, no. We’re just friends,” the 19-year-old told the publication. “Bisexual? Me? I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure I’m not.”

The “Best Song Ever” singer then went to sound off about pesky rumors regarding his love life, telling the magazine:

“Some of them are funny. Some of them are ridiculous. Some of them are annoying. I don’t want to be one of those people that complains about the rumors. I never like it when a celebrity goes on Twitter and says, ‘This isn’t true!’ It is what it is; I tend not to do that. The only time it gets really annoying is that if you get into a relationship and you get into a place where you really like someone and then things are being written in the papers that affect them and how they see you. Then it can get annoying.”

Speaking of relationships, his bandmates too have not paid any attention to pesky rumors. Though Zayn Malik may have had his fair share with his recent cheating scandal, other members of the group insist they don’t hook up at all with female groupies.

“Groupies? We don’t have time to party! I’m not even single. This sort of talk will get me in trouble,” Liam Payne said.

Louis Tomlinson continued, “The type of girls that would sleep with you in a heartbeat aren’t the type of girls I’d want to take home anyway.”

First Glimpse of Kellan Lutz in ‘Hercules 3D’

To quote The Nutty Professor, “Hercules! Hercules! Hercules! Hercules!”

There he is, in all his Greek demigod glory, Kellan Lutz as the muscular, mythical Hercules, the titular character in Renny Harlin‘s big-budget Hercules 3D, due in theaters in early 2014.

Lutz, 28, one of the stars of The Twilight Saga, showed off his sculpted physique as he shot scenes for upcoming blockbuster in Bulgaria. Donning a sheathed bottom, armor and a shield, the actor yielded a sword for a fight sequence.

Before filming began, Lutz bulked up his already well-built frame, reportedly adding on about 20 lbs. of muscle to transform into the mythological warrior. And after he had the body, he had to master the moves: Lutz dedicated himself to learning sword fighting, close combat and horseback riding to ready for the stunts.

Hercules 3D is only one of two Hollywood movies being made about Zeus’ half-moral son; Dwayne Johnson is set to play the divine hero in a rival project from directorBrett Ratner.

Is Simon Cowell About to Become a Father?

Simon Cowell, the notoriously mean judge from American Idol and now The X Factor, is apparently expecting a child with New York socialite Lauren Silverman.

“[Silverman’s] around 10 weeks along,” a source for US Weekly said Wednesday.

US Weekly also points out on numerous, not-exactly-subtle occasions that Silverman is still married to Cowell’s close friend, real estate mogul Andrew Silverman. Technically, anyway.

“Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while,” a source said. “As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close.”

Moment of Then: When Bravo Met Teresa Giudice

Today, Teresa Giudice is facing a crap-ton of years in prison after she and her husband Joe were indicted on 39 counts of conspiracy and fraud.

But back in August 2009, she was just your average soon-to-be-“Bravolebrity” in search of the meaning of life and other things on season 1 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

In this clip, available still on Bravo’s website, Teresa (pronounced Ta-ray-sa by the network’s creepy-sounding voiceover guy) is seen wanting breast implants as she complains about building her “dream house.” (Remember when her problems consisted only of her “bubbies”?)

“I’m not fake. I don’t try to be someone I’m not,” she says.

The rest, unfortunately, is history.
