They may have successfully crossed over into U.S. superstardom, but One Direction is OBVIOUSLY still all kinds of BELOVED by their fans in the UK, where they started off!
The always adorable Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were in attendance at today’s BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards at the Wembley Arena, not only to perform the title track from their debut album, Up All Night and new single Live While We’re Young, but also to be honored with THREE individual wins at the ceremony for Best Single, Best Album, AND Best Music Act!
As the boys graciously said during one of their acceptance speeches:
“This is absolutely amazing. We have to start off by thanking our incredible fans, it’s been an unbelievable two years for us.”
AH-mazing, indeed! But so well-deserved!
You guys have worked so hard for your success, and we’re so thrilled to see you not only achieving so much, but staying so gracious and appreciated!
