Pen lope Cruz and Javier Bardem welcomed their second child on Monday, July 22, Hola reports.

Cruz, who is said to have delivered a daughter in Madrid, flew under the radar, giving birth the same day as Kate Middleton.

Details or official confirmation of the couple’s new addition – who joins big brother Leonardo, 2 – have not been released.

Following months of speculation that Cruz, 39, and Bardem, 44, were expanding their family further, PEOPLE confirmed in February that a second baby was on the way.

And when the actress was unable to attend Spain’s Goya Awards weeks later, her rep issued a statement that simultaneously explained her absence and confirmed her second pregnancy. “[Penelope is] tremendously happy and very excited,” her rep said at the time.

Michael Bublé: My Son’s Birth Wasn’t ‘Life Changing’ – Until the Next Day

Like any other father, Michael Bubl was looking forward to seeing his son for the first time. But, despite the build up of emotions, when Noah arrived on Aug. 27, the new dad admits it wasn’t exactly love at first sight.

“I didn’t have that overwhelming feeling of love. I’m being honest with you,” the singer, 38, said during a Wednesday appearance on The Social.

“I’d heard all of these stories about how this moment was life-changing, but it wasn’t like that for me. I was nervous for my wife, and I was happy that he was healthy … but, that day, it was like meeting a stranger.”

A day later, while spending time with his baby boy, Bubl says the reality of fatherhood finally hit him. “That next night, it really clicked,” he shares. “I was looking at him and all of a sudden, I got it.”

Since that moment, Bubl has played the part of doting daddy perfectly, learning how to soothe his son with his singing skills.

“I sing to him all day and all night. When he’s crying with somebody else and I hold him and I sing to him, he just stops. It’s really cool,” the proud papa says. “The songs I’m singing are not my hits – that’s for sure. My number one go-to right now is ‘Down by the Bay.'”

Among his other newly acquired skills? “I’ve become a master at changing poopy diapers. And I can swaddle – I enjoy being swaddled myself!” he jokes.

Now head over heels for his first child with wife Luisana Lopilato, Bubl won’t be trying to convey the feelings of fatherhood anytime soon. “It’s the greatest thing that could ever happen,” he says. “You can’t explain it until it happens – it’s like telling somebody what water feels like before they’ve ever swum in it.”

And while he’s received a fair share of advice, Bubl has adopted a live and learn approach to parenting. “Every single person in the whole world tells you how to do it a different way,” he explains.

“At first it confuses you, then it drives you nuts, and then you realize that there is no right way. You just do the best you can and hope it turns out okay,” Bubl adds.

Newcastle Transfer News: Magpies To Make January Bid For Alfreo Finnbogason

Newcastle United are set to make a January bid for Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason, according to The Journal.

The 24-year-old emerged as a target for the Magpies earlier in the summer but failed to arrive at St James’ Park after a frustrating transfer window of inactivity for manager Alan Pardew and director of football Joe Kinnear.

French striker Loic Remy, who has joined the club on loan from Queens Park Rangers, was the duo’s only signing after recruitment efforts at the North East club fell by the wayside.

Since the closure of the window last Monday, Pardew’s only public utterance has been a club-sanctioned statement last week while Kinnear is thought to be out of the country as the dust settles on a summer of frustration.

Both will be hoping for better luck when the window re-opens in January, with Newcastle expected to renew their interests in Finnbogason.

The striker was offered to the Magpies by Dutch outfit Heerenveen earlier this summer for a fee of around 5 million.

Instead, the Toon club opted to look elsewhere but, having missed out on their desired targets, are prepared to go back in for Finnbogason, who has something of a prolific strike rate.

The Icelandic international has hit 30 goals in 35 appearances for Heerenveen since signing from Lokeren last year.
